In this activity you will create an encrypted directory using gocryptfs. This is based on the gocryptfs quickstart here:

You are working as a System Administrator and have been tasked with creating an encrypted directory using gocryptfs on a user's workstation running the CentOS Linux 7.7 operating system. You will need to log into the user's workstation remotely and complete the following tasks to accomplish this:

  1. Install gocryptfs packages.
  2. Create directories.
  3. Initialize encrypted directory.
  4. Mount filesystem.
What are Hands-On Labs?

Hands-On Labs are scenario-based learning environments where learners can practice without consequences. Don't compromise a system or waste money on expensive downloads. Practice real-world skills without the real-world risk, no assembly required.
