In this lab you will install IIS on a Windows Server 2016 Datacenter VM running in Azure. You will RDP into an VM created with the lab using an the supplied username and password. Once in, you will install IIS using Powershell. When that is complete, you will modify the security group applied to the VM to allow access to the VM on port 80 from the Internet. Upon completion of the lab you will have gained the experience required to deploy an IaaS / Windows web server in Azure.

What are Hands-On Labs?

Hands-On Labs are scenario-based learning environments where learners can practice without consequences. Don't compromise a system or waste money on expensive downloads. Practice real-world skills without the real-world risk, no assembly required.
