In this lab you will create a custom image of a Windows VM that runs IIS and with custom web content. The VM will be preconfigured with IIS. You will modify the default web content and create an image of the VM that you can start new instances with the web server and custom web content already in place. At the end of the lab you will have prepped the VM by running sysprep, created the image using the portal, and started a new instance from the image.

What are Hands-On Labs?

Hands-On Labs are scenario-based learning environments where learners can practice without consequences. Don't compromise a system or waste money on expensive downloads. Practice real-world skills without the real-world risk, no assembly required.
