I passed the AWS exam last week. The developer course was my primary study material and worked great.

I noticed the read-after-write consistency wasn't included in the S3 portion of the exam since it's a new feature. Looks like they haven't updated the exam yet. I asked one of the AWS architects at Amazon and it sounds like they update the test about every 6 months, so it's something to keep in mind when taking the test.

Off to study for the Architect exam.
