I successfully completed the new SysOps Associate Exam
I sat through the 2018 SysOps Administrator - Associate exam on Tuesday, Nov. 20th. As others have mentioned, it was a fair amount more challenging than the Solutions Architect - Associate exam.
The new SysOps Administrator training did a great job of targetting my studies, and re-reading the White Papers was very useful. I would suggest reading them to anyone sitting the exam.
I found that you had to pay extra attention to the wording of the questions and the answers to make sure you didn't rush to an answer. Several can seem correct, but one may be the best. I was liberal in marking questions I wanted to revisit, but ended up going through all the questions after I was done to double-check. I found the time to be plenty adequate to do so.
Glad to be done with this one! I need to do my re-up on the CSA early next month, and I have the Developer scheduled for later in Dec. Figured I would start with the more difficult of the trifecta.
Thank you for providing excellent training! The hands-on portions are the most important parts in this cert in my opinion, but I loved the Codex as well.
