The Red Hat Enterprise Linux Diagnostics and Troubleshooting course (RH342) for Red Hat Certified Specialist in Linux Diagnostics and Troubleshooting would awesome :)
Under Red Hat Certified Architect Full Support! , will you be covering redhat satellite and redhat cluster?
ETA on Red Hat Certificate of Expertise In Virtualization? because im planning to take it soon
@wgroenewald Jenkins updates to our existing course will be released as part of this. However, a brand new course will not. Mainly because the objectives are about to be refreshed later this summer and we are planning it around those objectives.
@saudx It will be launching sometime between July 1 and August 1.
@akara1189 That's brand new out of preview. But we could probably get something out sooner than later.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect 2018, is it professional level certification that is getting refreshed or the associate level?
@chadmcrowell Christophe emailed you, respond to him and we'll get the process going!
@mikeshobes718 Nope, this is it until July Then in july we will be announcing them week by week!
AWS Certified Solutions Architect 2018 - Is this the Associate or Professional?
@krishnakalyan This is for the new CSA associate exam. They have not yet updated professional so professional still covers all the required objectives. However, we will be refreshing professional next.
@mattmuse We will be spinning it up for a while :). Increasing the rate of building, we are hiring if you know of anybody as well!
Salt Stack Certification! Can we take the exam without taking official training courses from SaltStack? As per the company certification page:
To become a SaltStack Certified Engineer, a candidate must:
Have demonstrable real-world experience with SaltStack
Complete Official SaltStack training courses:
Salt Administration I
Salt Administration II
Pass the SSCE exam
wondering if this will change soon
@gcpcloudmaddy-b22069fb We are launching the google cloud
Google Data Engineer Exam in July!
@abhinavkhanna Our course author that does puppet is launching a different (more popular) devops certification in July. However, he will be working on the puppet one for Q3 launching in October.
@gmaguire yup, there is Chef related stuff coming out.
@shashankp the entire current kubernetes certification course, we just released in feb, is all learn by doing.
@gabriel-koo AWS hasn't released a 2018 version of any of the professional exams. Our courses still cover 100% of the objectives. That being said, We are launching DevOps pro with interactive diagrams and hands-on labs in July, followed by CSA/Big data in October.
Why isRed Hat Certificate of Expertise In Ansible listed in new courses, when it is already available?
AWS Certified Solutions Architect 2018 - This New course is for Associate or Professional. I'm planning to take AWS CSA Associate Exam Next Month. Is it good idea to wait for this course or take the exam.
Thanks @charan_khubbar we got a great team at Linux Academy who really loves what they do. It makes all the difference. And support from our students goes all the way!
Can't wait for the AWS Security Speciality course! Does it include labs?
@gigstylez Of course it does! And interactive diagrams! That's why linux academy is the best!
@mzackery1436-2fd6e59b We never launch a certification course without hands-on labs or practice exams. That would be horrible! But yes, it will have interactive diagrams, practice exams, AND hands-on labs!
what does this mean? "Red Hat Certified Architect Full Support!"
Happy to see AWS Certified Solutions Architect 2018!
@vnmalladi We have a new practice exam system, since you last used it. It is on all our new content.
@vkobzar Satalite is not launching in July but it is planned.
@hiren.shah Adrian just joined this week. It will be during our next batch this fall his stuff will launch.
Yup! Good news is @toshko as you can see in the post, we are launching the new version!
Agree on APIGEE^
@wangchao We already have a salt stack deep dive course out. As you can see in the above post we announced we would be launching the Salt Certification sometime in July. So it is for sure coming soon :)
Looking forward to AWS Certified Solutions Architect 2018!!Want to dive in ASAP!
Hope for some LPIC-3 Exam 303 Security content...
Keep it up
@ecoden76 LPIC 3 stuff . will be launching in October, already slated and starting development in July.
@firstname.lastname@example.org Please head to https://linuxacademycom.ideas.aha.io and add your idea there. In terms of community requests we tend to launch the most requested items first. Please add it in so others can vote on it!
Why is Red Hat Certificate of Expertise In Ansible listed in new courses, when it is already available?
@azisazis Launching in July :)
All launches are happening in July @dsayyed starting on July 10. Enter to win an Anstle too!
@timo67 Openstack labs are included as part of the openstack course but not part of cloud servers. I wouldn't say they are free, as they are part of your membership :)
@mangeshkaslikar It will be launching with it's respective category launch day. Here are the dates. FYI as the courses complete the q/a process we will be setting them public. These dates are the "latest" at which they will be launched. Lambda is an AWS Category. However, I'd expect to see the course BEFORE the 24 based off of my last update from the team.
could you please clarify what does Red Hat Certified Architect Full Support mean ? and will you be launching redhat high availabilty clustering prep course and redhat satelite 6 administration prep course in july
@manoj540782 It means we will have enough red hat certs to support one of the RHCA tracks.
@hammad94 We are launching a new content discovery service that will make that easier to do. We are also launching a new dashboard page this coming week to show all the new launches.
@anthony I'm just starting the Azure 70-533 Certification Prep training. Should I wait for the new release? If so, do you have an estimate on when the new Azure Prep courses are coming out?
@itsmearthur These exams are nothing short of super hard, to be honest. Anybody who says they can get you all the objectives in less than 15 hours, is just lying to you. Other side of that is we have our course authors full time. So they are here to help you while you are going through the course and answer questions. We don't hire contractors, that wont' be here to help if needed. But the fact we have full time course authors now, also means, you will be getting azure content every quarter going forward. Currently, we have 4 of them and are still spinning up. Hiring another 3 this quarter is the goal.
@anthony I'm really glad to hear that. Microsoft Azure it's the cloud platform of choice for the company I work for and I've noticed that many training providers are still behind on content on Microsoft Azure. It makes me happy to know that you guys at Linux Academy are investing and working on bringing more Azure content to the site, and knowing that is enough for me to be glad to have became a subscriber. Thank you!
@zl0ty HI, the pricing we have reflects all the content we are building and the hands-on labs. our cost of building content with interactive diagrams, hands-on labs and full time course authors is a bit higher than those places who just use power point videos. I do not think we will be offering any promotions anytime in the near future. We are generally moving away from that since we try to price our content right to make it available for our students year around.
https://linuxacademy.com/cp/learningpaths/preview/id/2444 and Terry Cox is working on a short course about it now.
