Cleared my Docker Certified Associate exam today.

It was overall a good experience. Exam was not tough but It can test your docker skills and basic concepts. Docker EE is not much into picture ( Only for UCP and DTR) so no need to have a practicals for Docker EE. But for Docker CE, YOU MUST PRACTICE. Theory won't help you unless you are quite good at practicals.  Focus should be on Images, Containers, Storage, Volume , Swarm and Ports, Secrets and basics of DTR and UCP. Docker Documentation is a good source to read and Linux academy has structured the syllabus in such a way that you can easily decode the content of official documentation. So It can save you time and gives you a vision to what to do and what you should avoid. I didn't have any prior docker experience but with Docker documentation, anybody can learn docker.

Thank you linuxacademy and Terry :)

All the best everyone :)

Congratulations!

I’d love to endorse/recommend you on LinkedIn if you want. All you have to do is add me as a connection and add Linux Academy as your school. Once you do that, post a picture of your cert about passing in your feed and reference me within the original post. Once I see this, I’ll be able to recommend you for your hard work on your LinkedIn profile.

Thanks,

Anthony

Well done! And what you said is true of docker in general as much as the exam: practice is the only way! There's only so much actually going on inside docker (compared to many other linux/web technologies), but the way those interact and to best utilize them can get very complex, and only experience will teach you that.

My first attempt at the CCNA was with the Cisco provided material and Udemy courses. Failed with 58%. After 2 weeks of practice tests using Dumps4prep, I passed with a 77%. If I had to do it over again I'd go straight to Dumps4prep and dedicate my time using their material.
