Passed on the first try. A whole level harder than the Associate certs, as it should be. I'm happy enough with my score, given that I was fully loaded on Dayquil during the exam :)
Observations, without giving too much away:
- Know the material coming out of the Developer and SysOps courses.
- Know the nuances of deployment cycles on EB, OpsWorks, and CF, especially on blue/greens, and the differences between each flow;
- Some stuff on userdata, triggering lifecycle hooks, and security best-practices;
- A few of the answers had things that weren't covered in the coursework here (big data?). I'm not sure where I scored on those, but since it wasn't part of the course and seemed more like solution architecture, I chose to skip on those options.
Onward to SAPro, but first a journey through the new CK8SA course!
