After working with Unix/Linux for 27 years, finally had an employer who cared about a Certification enough to require it (unfortunately), so here it is.
Thanks to this site. The videos and study guides made this easier than I expected it would be. The amount of minutia that LPIC wants you to remember is beyond ridicuous and I honestly don't know how young kids with no experience ever pass this test without spending 100+ hours on the material.
I learned a few things in the process about Linux.
I also learned that the certification is pretty much what I expected, proof I could commit mounds of information to memory. I remain unconvinced these hold any value beyond entry level for the Unxi world, but I'll probably get the advanced ones now. No reason not to.
