I passed the CSA exam yesterday with a score of 89%. Thanks to Anthony for the exam prep course!
The test itself was slightly harder than the Certified Developer exam. True to the exam objectives, the focus was on highly available, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective architectures. So, while every section in the course is important, please pay extra attention to the Route53, ELB, VPC, RDS, EC2, and Storage lectures.
There were some repeat questions both from the Developer exam, and also from the AWS free sample exam and the practice exam. These were word-for-word copies. If you are preparing for the exam, you could do a lot worse than to review these questions.
I also had one question each on OpsWorks, Redshift, and Kinesis. Anthony's course covers these in detail, but the exam questions felt like dead giveaways -- if you knew a one-line definition of each service, you could have gotten them right.
