I have been working with AWS about six and half years. My current company provides managed services to local company. Every time there is a new client comes in there are new things to learn. Every new clients wanted to use some different AWS services than others. I have good knowledge of most AWS services overall. I have learnt them by doing it.
I have learnt a lot of them in very hard way :).
The aws professional level exam is all about provide or design solution for your client. You should have good understanding of how all the AWS services works and how you can put them together to make a good solution. If possible try to attend the AWS reinvent bootcamp. This is how you can meet and have a conversation with AWS experts. Now days there are online bootcamp too you can attend. A lot of times they showcase how all the different AWS services can be use together. If you are not sure about some aws services try dig into it.
There are some hack i use in terms of different course materials. Most of the online course providers offers some level of free trail. So sign up them and study the course materials before the trail ends :).
