the course was sufficient for me to pass the exam. There have been a few questions on secrets management (rotation/how to create), some detail questions on docker volume commands and surprisingly detailed DTR questions (items in a backup, permission management) which were not covered in the videos though. So some self-study is needed.
High, would you mind providing a few specific commands you found that were not in the course?
We'd love to update anything that is missing over the weekend.
First congratulations on your certification, it is not an easy exam!
Second, thanks for the feedback. I will look into bolstering the content on the topics you bring up in the next little while for anyone else preparing for the exam. We really appreciate you sharing your experience and helping to make our content the best it can be!
Congrats and thanks for the feedback!
docker secret create
docker service update --secret-add / --secret-rm
docker run --volumes-from
In addition, multi-stage builds were in a question but afaik not in the course. Plus the things in my first post. More commands I cannot remember, fading quickly ;)
Ah, just remembered three more:
docker container run --health-cmd i think, that's covered by the HEALTHCHECK one in image creation though
docker container run --restart on-failure/always
docker service create --endpoint-mode vip/dnsrr related to auto-discovery methods (2 out of 4 answers)
Awesome! Way to go, Thomas!
Congratulations on passing, Thomas, and thank you for sharing your feedback!
Congrats! That was fast, the course just came out!
Woot! Congrats, Thomas!
Great work, Thomas!
Congratulations and thanks for info!
I will be releasing content to address several of the items above sometime today, thanks again for the heads up based on your test experience!
Here is the first one - Container Lifecycles, Restart Policies: https://linuxacademy.com/community/posts/show/topic/23590-passed-a-few-minutes-ago
I have another three over the next few days to address the other items you mentioned. Thanks again for your feedback!
Congrats, Thomas! And thanks greatly for the feedback. I see that Terry is on it - we really do appreciate hearing of your experience.
Congratulations, Thomas! Thank you for your feedback.
Awesome work, Thomas!
Hello Terrence, just wanted to know if/when you are planning to add the other three items as mentioned in your previous post. Thank you.
