Hi All

I passed my Linux Essentials exam today!

After 15 years in a mainframe background it was quite a change in direction!

As an aside i am wondering whether to do LPIC-1 next or do some DevOps certification. Can anyone advise the best path? WHat i mean is do people in DevOps normally have their LPIC-1 as a given or are they totally separate?

Cheers,
Chrisd

    Nice job!

I would go for the Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator or Red Hat Certified System Administrator next. They are performance based exams and usually thought of as more indicative of your actual readiness to be a system administrator.
