Thanks for the lesson, it’s much appreciated! I went ahead and played with this on our dev site to see how it would react and found that launching the ‘native app’ form of the web app from the home screen gives me a version of my website that can’t be navigated within the native format. Instead it links out to Safari (using iPod) if I want to see another page. Is there a lot more to this or is it just impossible to create such a web app? Thanks again!

iOs web apps do not support navigation when you launch them as a native app. You can use the window.location code in javascript. That is the only way I have found around it.

Never mind… I found that my shopping cart (Magento) adds a full URL to each link in the site, which is probably why each link opens in a browser. Thanks again, Anthony, this really is a great tutorial. I’ve got some work to do to make use of it 🙂

Hmmm, mine doesn’t want to scroll under the user nav bar div. The whole viewport moves as one. Any ideas? Thanks for the great tut.

Also, my splash screen doesn’t show up. Looks like syntax is correct. Any ideas on this one?

Are you sure the location of your image is correct? Do you have this on a public server I could take a look at?
