    Helm Deep Dive
  • Helm Deep Dive – In this course we will be learning Helm the package manager for Kubernetes. We will start with the pre-requisites of getting a Kubernetes cluster where we can install Tiller, the server-side of helm, and ensure the installation is working. Then, we’ll go overt charts, the packages that helm installs: their anatomy and how to make one from scratch. We will also show how to customize existing charts so that they can be used as templates for our releases with Helm.

While the first course in the series focused on installation, configuration, and ad-hoc commands, this course discusses what a play and playbook are in Ansible. Many key features of Ansible Playbooks are highlighted as we work through the course and a few new modules are introduced. Naturally, there are many demonstrations provided and some discussion on potential uses cases for the various features that are covered. Hands-on labs are provided throughout the course for students to practice their knowledge. After completing this course, students should be capable of writing Ansible playbooks for several different scenarios!
  • Serverless Concepts – Serverless has been gaining momentum as cloud technology continues to become more and more widespread. This course is designed to provide a high-level overview of Serverless computing without getting into deep technical detail. For a general idea of what Serverless means and the basic jargon or surrounding concepts, this the place to start. After completing this brief course, you will be able to speak intelligently about Serverless.
  • Database Essentials – In this course, we will start with the basics of what a database is, then we will explore the different types of databases from flat file to relational. We will install some of the more popular database systems that are available on Linux and see how to work with data in those systems.
    Azure Command Line Essentials
  • Azure Command-Line Essentials – This beginner-level course teaches the essentials of using the Azure CLI to manage your Azure environment using the command line. You will learn important concepts of the Azure CLI to create and manage resources and gain a basic understanding of how to build scripts. These essential skills will help you use Azure CLI to simplify and automate your administrative and development tasks.
