We've been busy at the Linux Academy!

At the Linux Academy, helping our student master their skills and expand their knowledge is our number one goal. We’ve recently kicked things into high gear! Today I’d like to tell you some great new features we have been working on, and some special treats we have for you in the coming months.

New Features

We’ve had some excellent suggestions from our users, and we’ve been listening! You’ve been asking for an alternative method to subscribe besides PayPal. I’m happy to announced that we have just finished a major rewrite to our subscription system, and we are now able to accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover as payment options.

You’ve also been asking us to give you the ability to hide the answers to labs. We’ll that is very studious of you! We are currently in the process of rewriting all the labs to include this feature.

Most exciting, are some major upgrades that are coming to our quiz system! No longer will you just be presented with a pass or fail grade. We are going to break it down further by identifying your strengths, weaknesses, and providing you relevent study material on a per question basis. We believe this will greatly increase your ability to master the concepts, and fully understand the material. Oh, and we are also going to make the quizzes a bit tougher.

Is it content you are craving?

We are adding a ton of that too! Today Linux Academy offers access to over 560 training videos. Our instructors are hard at work producing new AWS training courses, on a weekly basis. Currently we are expanding our AWS Certified SysOps courses.  You also have been asking for more hands on live labs, we are producing those too!

But wait, there’s even more to come!

Live community events! Prize giveaways! And more!

There has never been a better time to be a part of the Linux Academy. We love our students and want them to succeed. One of our greatest rewards is reading your exam success stories on the message boards. It is because of you that we get to do what we love everyday.

Is there something you’d like to see at the Linux Academy?

We love your feedback. Leave a comment below and we’ll do our best to make it happen!
