Although AWS has removed the prerequisites for the exam, we recommend that you take the Associate level exams prior to pursuing the Advanced Networking Specialty Certification. You should have a fundamental knowledge of many AWS services including Route 53, EC2, ELB, CloudFront, VPC, S3, and others. Having fundamental networking knowledge and skills with configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment will be very beneficial to your success and understanding of this course.
